humanIT supports therapeutic, educational advancement
for special-needs children
Mentally handicapped children need intensive, one-on-one support in order to lead independent, self-determined lives. For the past 30 years, the special-needs kindergarten in Bonn-Graurheindorf has provided individual, therapeutic educational care for children with learning and mental disabilities or a delayed development.
As part of the renovation of its outdoor facilities, the kindergarten is replacing its 20-year-old playground equipment. The new outdoor area provides various play environments that build self-confidence and impart a sense of achievement.
The kindergarten facility is run by Lebenshilfe Bonn, a non-profit organization that consults, coaches and supports individuals with disabilities as well as their families. Our donation supports the renovation of this special-needs kindergarten to support its valuable work in our community.
